Dr. Jessica Barzideh is a Board-Certified Pediatric Dentist committed to creating a welcoming and compassionate atmosphere for her young patients. With a focus on children from infancy through adolescence, she offers specialized care tailored to each developmental stage. Throughout her educational journey, Dr. Barzideh lived in various parts of the Northeast but always felt drawn back to her roots on Long Island. She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Rochester, where she learned to embrace the challenge of snowy winters. Her passion for dentistry led her to Temple University for dental school, where she also developed a love for Philadelphia’s vibrant food scene. Dr. Barzideh then completed her pediatric dental residency at a health center in Western Massachusetts, affiliated with NYU Brooklyn, where she enjoyed the stunning autumn landscapes and discovered that she wasn’t a Red Sox fan! After several years of moving around, Dr. Barzideh has now settled on Long Island with her two young sons. Outside of her practice, she enjoys getting her hands dirty in the garden with her children, playing tennis, and going on road trips to discover new destinations.

Dr. Barzideh’s approach to dentistry is rooted in prevention and education. She takes the time to build meaningful relationships with each patient and their family, allowing her to tailor her care to meet the unique needs of every child. Throughout her career, Dr. Barzideh has gained extensive experience working with children with special healthcare needs. In addition to her work in private practice, she has served as an attending dentist, teaching pediatric dental residents at an NYU-HHC affiliate hospital. She is passionate about educating future pediatric dentists and staying up to date with the latest developments in the field. Dr. Barzideh has a particular interest in pediatric sleep apnea and the role dentists play in its prevention. One of her greatest joys in pediatric dentistry is watching initially anxious children become confident, happy patients.
